I would suggest these two products that I have had great experience with because i used to have crazy curly hair that couldnt stay straight at all, and now my hair is naturally wavy and stays alot straighter. And I think that they would fit your budget :)

Iron:

Get a babyliss pro nano titanium. It has great heat controls and can get REALLY hot! I went from taking 30 minutes to straighten with a CHI withouth lasting results, and now my hair straightens in 5-10 minutes and lasts all day unless i get it wet. It has made a HUGE difference to me. If you get it at this website you get a discount (60 dollars off!!!) and free shipping. Its definitely worth it.

Product:

I started using Nexxus Sleek memory and Heat Protexx around the same time i bought my hair iron. You put it in your hair when its wet, then blowdry and straighten. After a few weeks, you will notice your hair will dry and straighten so much easier and quicker! Like i mentioned earlier, my hair used to be annoyingly curly, and now its soft and wavy, I can even brush it while its wavy and it will still look good! You can get it at drugstores for about 10 dollars

im sorry but there arent any good ones that cheap. get a solia
i recomend da remington1 but its about 50$
u cant get one that cheap but an instyler sounds like it would work for u
First you don't have to say your race just say your hair kind. Ok you need to find an iron that has a brush attatched. Like the instyler or one from Qvc. I'm 13 too and when I was 10, my mom bought this iron with a brush on it to work thru my curly hair, it was amazing. Or invest in a serum its probably cheaper than an iron and doesnt dry out ur hair as much. If you want spiral curls or beachy waves get hot rollers or velcro. I hoped this helped. And herbal essence has stuff called dangerously straight it might help with straightening. (www.herbalessence.com)

WHERE CAN I FIND 2 inch or bigger HOT ROLLERS?!?!?

I'm caucasian but I have very frizzy/wavy/curly long hair.

I just got it cut in long layers, but it's still hard for me to find a style that looks okay.

I used to just straighten it with a chi straightener but I'm a fatass and it makes my hair look flat against my head.

I've tried big curling irons but there alot of work and I always end up burning my hands or face...

So I'm looking for Really big like 2inch or bigger hot rollers.....

I can only find 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 sized conair ones that come in small sets...

Is there anywhere I can find a set of like 20 SUPER JUMBO SIZED (2 inch or bigger) hot rollers??????????

And also, any advice on how to style my hair?? I mean I know if I was rich and famous I could style my hair kinda like the kardashians (same hair type and length)...but I'm ghetto and can't find a managable way to fix my hair....

what you do is you take a about an inch thick of your hair and curl only the middle and then straighten the ends. After you do that to all of your hair but some hair spray in and your good to go!HELP! i have a dat in 2 hours AND I NEED IDEAS!!!?
If you're hair is similar to that girl in the first photo, leave it that way!

Boy Hair straightening help.......???!!!?

HI im a 14 year old boy and i have long brown luscious hair. My best friends sister is very pretty with long blonde beautiful hair and she wanted to straighten my hair and i wanted to say yes so badly but had to say no becuz of wat i thought my friends would of said. When i was in her room i saw her 2'; barrel curling iron and my friend took it to my hair and started to curl my hair and although i really liked it i told him to stop cuz i wasnt sure wat he would think if i let him curl all my hair. My other friends mom always talks to me about straightening hair cuz she thinks i straighten my hair too. I sort of kno wat im talking about when i talk to her about this and she gives me advice for my hair which is really nice of her. When i was at her sons house, her and her son wanted to straighten my hair with her Chi flat iron and i was flattered and once again i wanted to say yes so badly but i chickened out.

I really want to straighten my hair but i dont know where to start.

Can some1 give me a step to step list on how to straighten my hair, wat ill need to stragihten my hair, wat kind of straightener i shuld get, how to get my friends moms and sisters to straighten my hair wiht my approval and most of all HOW TO HIDE THE FACT THT I STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR FROM MY FAMILYBoy Hair straightening help.......???!!!?
Stop being so ashamed, if it looks good - roll with it.

Although don't let anyone curl it, that's kinda weird..

I'd say start with letting your best friend's sister straighten it for you and ask her what she thinks of it and see what you think of it. Who knows, you might get a date out of it as well [;

And then if you think it looks good search around and see what makes of straighteners are the best and ask your mate's sister what she has and what she thinks is the best to get.

And then just experiment with how to do it. But if you get stuck ask the Mom for some help on how you can do it yourself and she'll probably be happy to help

All the best for your hair adventures =)Boy Hair straightening help.......???!!!?
Its not a big deal to straighten your hair. I know a bunch of guys that do. But the CHI works pretty good. If you go to this site you can read the reviews on straighteners.

And use a heat protector.

How? I need help with straightening..?

How can I keep my hair straight and looking nice and mousturized? I am biracial and my hair is tightly curly. It is a little past my shoulder when it's straight and the bottoms poof up even though are regularly trimmed. My hair also doesn't stay straight; it turns into waves and curls up which gets really annoying.

I use a Conair Flat Iron (Ceramic) and it has a built in comb in it. Usually when I flat iron my hair I wash and condition with Redken Smooth Down line and then when I get out the shower I comb my hair with a wide-toothed comb and put in CHI silk infusion and Tresemme Heat Protectant Spray.

I flat iron my hair in sections and do it very slowly and carefully it takes about a half an hour to 45 minutes to do since my hair is thick.

Oh and last my hair is also super dee duper dee dry!! (lol) and it feels dry when I'm done. Sometimes I put in Luster's Pink Hair Lotion it feels mousturized but my hair doesn't move. But yeah, please help me!!How? I need help with straightening..?
I have thick hair too, so i use this product called bed head heat protectant for straightening hair... it works great for me and makes my hair more smooth and shiny. to keep it your hair straight all day long, use a hairspray hold. my friend uses something like this:

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

but i put in straightening conditioner in my hair.. it's sunsilk straight conditioner in my hair after straightening it to make it hold longer. *and it makes you hair smell even better :)How? I need help with straightening..?
A generous spritz of Pantene Stay Smooth Hairspray Flexible Hold will keep your smooth look in place for a long time.
Hmm. Try a new straightener. CHI ones work miracles (http://bit.ly/Ouinp). Anything Bed Head works great, too (http://bit.ly/93pgo). Hope I helped, somewhat!
Use olive oil for your hair, put it all over and leave it for about 1/2 an hour to 45 mins. Do this at least once a week, the more the better. It should keep your hair moisturized and easier to style. Hope this works ;)
instead of a heat protectant spray..use a smoothing cream for heated styling.(will help with out drying hair out more!) make sure you blow dry your hair completely because thick and curly hair can hold on to water. then move on to the flat iron and finish with silk infusion to get that smooth/sleek look.

hope that helps!

How can I tame my natural curls?

So I need some help trying to figure out how to properly style my long, naturally curly hair (and by curly I mean ringlets - not extremely tight though).

I've already learned the basics: shampoo less (and with good shampoo), condition daily, ring out excess water, use a pic or fingers, use my product, and let it air dry. For my product I use a little biosilk or chi serum. I noticed this really helps to tame the define the curls yet keep it soft. However I need to use a little harispray to keep the frizz under control. My problem is that at first my hair has ringlets, and then as the day goes on it starts to loosen up (and for those that have naturally curly hair, that in between look of perfectly defined curls and a little looser does not look great). Usually, it's the next day my curls look the best. But then of course sections are frizzy from sleeping on it.

Overall, what I'm trying to figure out is how to get the natural or next day look right away. I've heard about showering at night (I always shower in the am just to style my hair) and styling and letting it dry then, but how can I sleep without messing it up?

Any recommendations on your entire process for getting natural looking curls it would be greatly appreciated :)How can I tame my natural curls?
I have curly, fine dry hair. Oh, the joy. When it looks good, it looks great. However, this is rare.

I have tried alot of things and this is what works for me.

1) I believe that the ';no shampoo'; practice is great and it works for my thicker-haired curly girl friends. Basically, you don't use shampoo cause to be honest it is sort of a rigged game. First, a person uses detergent to get rid of ';oils'; and then we use a conditioner to make hair soft again? The idea of ';curly girl'; is a person rinses hair, trying not to disturb natural curl pattern, and uses conditioner to massage scalp and on ends. Brown Sugar can be used as scalp exflotient when needed (id scalp itches or feels icky).

Try to air dry as much as possible. Try not to disturb natural curl pattern - i.e. don't scrunch hair alot. Can use clips to lift roots up to get more volume as hair dries.

2) the use of a ';refresher'; during the day. A spray bottle with a little lavendar oil in it can be used to spray at ';wilting'; curls and they will get ';springier'; and more shapely. This does not work for me, but does for many others. I suppose you don't have to use lavender oil.

3) As someone with fine hair, if I don't shampoo sometimes, it is a sad sight. What I do try to do is just use it at roots. I try not to use it every shampoo. I try non-sulfate ones. There are a few.

4) I know completely what you mean about sleeping on it and SILK pillowcases are a god-send. They really really work. Supposedly used alot for preventing wrinkles, they work amazing for hair. All night long there is friction from head (hair) on pillowcases. I have found so much less frizz and tangles with silk cases. Satin, whatever - something that provides some ';slip'; while sleeping.

5) try putting in some product - Phyto 7 I adore- and braiding it before bed.

6) Once a week I put on the cotton pillowcases and sleep with olive oil in hair. It is amazing! I do use a mild ';real'; shampoo the day after (especially on roots) but the hair is so ';happy'; the next few days, less frizz, more shine and suppleness. You could try just putting oil or deep conditioner on ends the night before for better AM wash and style.

7) Basically, don't fall into the ';hydrating'; shampoo concept - it is vicious cycle.

8) you know your hair, but hairspray seems contraindicated and is usually drying. Maybe look for another product to ';keep'; curl? I do like the Bumble %26amp; Bumble curl cream, Phyto 7 mixed with a little liquid gel, or some of the morrocon oil mixed with liquid gel.

First start out with a really good cut by a stylist that understands curly hair.

Shampoo and conditioner should be highly moisturizing.

My favorite curl product is ';Boing'; by Unite Eurotherapy (a salon brand)...the best I've ever tried!

I air dry and scrunch, barely even finger combing, and don't use combs or brushes. If I use a hair dryer it's always on low with a diffuser.
With a Chair and Whip.

You need to get your hair trimmed. It will be 100 times better to curl... I'm serious. There is no hope if it is so damaged.
