I would suggest these two products that I have had great experience with because i used to have crazy curly hair that couldnt stay straight at all, and now my hair is naturally wavy and stays alot straighter. And I think that they would fit your budget :)

Iron:

Get a babyliss pro nano titanium. It has great heat controls and can get REALLY hot! I went from taking 30 minutes to straighten with a CHI withouth lasting results, and now my hair straightens in 5-10 minutes and lasts all day unless i get it wet. It has made a HUGE difference to me. If you get it at this website you get a discount (60 dollars off!!!) and free shipping. Its definitely worth it.

Product:

I started using Nexxus Sleek memory and Heat Protexx around the same time i bought my hair iron. You put it in your hair when its wet, then blowdry and straighten. After a few weeks, you will notice your hair will dry and straighten so much easier and quicker! Like i mentioned earlier, my hair used to be annoyingly curly, and now its soft and wavy, I can even brush it while its wavy and it will still look good! You can get it at drugstores for about 10 dollars

im sorry but there arent any good ones that cheap. get a solia
i recomend da remington1 but its about 50$
u cant get one that cheap but an instyler sounds like it would work for u
First you don't have to say your race just say your hair kind. Ok you need to find an iron that has a brush attatched. Like the instyler or one from Qvc. I'm 13 too and when I was 10, my mom bought this iron with a brush on it to work thru my curly hair, it was amazing. Or invest in a serum its probably cheaper than an iron and doesnt dry out ur hair as much. If you want spiral curls or beachy waves get hot rollers or velcro. I hoped this helped. And herbal essence has stuff called dangerously straight it might help with straightening. (www.herbalessence.com)

WHERE CAN I FIND 2 inch or bigger HOT ROLLERS?!?!?

I'm caucasian but I have very frizzy/wavy/curly long hair.

I just got it cut in long layers, but it's still hard for me to find a style that looks okay.

I used to just straighten it with a chi straightener but I'm a fatass and it makes my hair look flat against my head.

I've tried big curling irons but there alot of work and I always end up burning my hands or face...

So I'm looking for Really big like 2inch or bigger hot rollers.....

I can only find 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 sized conair ones that come in small sets...

Is there anywhere I can find a set of like 20 SUPER JUMBO SIZED (2 inch or bigger) hot rollers??????????

And also, any advice on how to style my hair?? I mean I know if I was rich and famous I could style my hair kinda like the kardashians (same hair type and length)...but I'm ghetto and can't find a managable way to fix my hair....

PLEASE HELP!!!WHERE CAN I FIND 2 inch or bigger HOT ROLLERS?!?!?
i think you can find on the internet ,it will have many types hair straighters and in cheap prices ! good luck

Boy Hair straightening help.......???!!!?

HI im a 14 year old boy and i have long brown luscious hair. My best friends sister is very pretty with long blonde beautiful hair and she wanted to straighten my hair and i wanted to say yes so badly but had to say no becuz of wat i thought my friends would of said. When i was in her room i saw her 2'; barrel curling iron and my friend took it to my hair and started to curl my hair and although i really liked it i told him to stop cuz i wasnt sure wat he would think if i let him curl all my hair. My other friends mom always talks to me about straightening hair cuz she thinks i straighten my hair too. I sort of kno wat im talking about when i talk to her about this and she gives me advice for my hair which is really nice of her. When i was at her sons house, her and her son wanted to straighten my hair with her Chi flat iron and i was flattered and once again i wanted to say yes so badly but i chickened out.

I really want to straighten my hair but i dont know where to start.

Can some1 give me a step to step list on how to straighten my hair, wat ill need to stragihten my hair, wat kind of straightener i shuld get, how to get my friends moms and sisters to straighten my hair wiht my approval and most of all HOW TO HIDE THE FACT THT I STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR FROM MY FAMILYBoy Hair straightening help.......???!!!?
Stop being so ashamed, if it looks good - roll with it.

Although don't let anyone curl it, that's kinda weird..

I'd say start with letting your best friend's sister straighten it for you and ask her what she thinks of it and see what you think of it. Who knows, you might get a date out of it as well [;

And then if you think it looks good search around and see what makes of straighteners are the best and ask your mate's sister what she has and what she thinks is the best to get.

And then just experiment with how to do it. But if you get stuck ask the Mom for some help on how you can do it yourself and she'll probably be happy to help

All the best for your hair adventures =)Boy Hair straightening help.......???!!!?
Its not a big deal to straighten your hair. I know a bunch of guys that do. But the CHI works pretty good. If you go to this site you can read the reviews on straighteners.

And use a heat protector.

How? I need help with straightening..?

How can I keep my hair straight and looking nice and mousturized? I am biracial and my hair is tightly curly. It is a little past my shoulder when it's straight and the bottoms poof up even though are regularly trimmed. My hair also doesn't stay straight; it turns into waves and curls up which gets really annoying.

I use a Conair Flat Iron (Ceramic) and it has a built in comb in it. Usually when I flat iron my hair I wash and condition with Redken Smooth Down line and then when I get out the shower I comb my hair with a wide-toothed comb and put in CHI silk infusion and Tresemme Heat Protectant Spray.

I flat iron my hair in sections and do it very slowly and carefully it takes about a half an hour to 45 minutes to do since my hair is thick.

Oh and last my hair is also super dee duper dee dry!! (lol) and it feels dry when I'm done. Sometimes I put in Luster's Pink Hair Lotion it feels mousturized but my hair doesn't move. But yeah, please help me!!How? I need help with straightening..?
I have thick hair too, so i use this product called bed head heat protectant for straightening hair... it works great for me and makes my hair more smooth and shiny. to keep it your hair straight all day long, use a hairspray hold. my friend uses something like this:

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

but i put in straightening conditioner in my hair.. it's sunsilk straight conditioner in my hair after straightening it to make it hold longer. *and it makes you hair smell even better :)How? I need help with straightening..?
A generous spritz of Pantene Stay Smooth Hairspray Flexible Hold will keep your smooth look in place for a long time.
Hmm. Try a new straightener. CHI ones work miracles (http://bit.ly/Ouinp). Anything Bed Head works great, too (http://bit.ly/93pgo). Hope I helped, somewhat!
Use olive oil for your hair, put it all over and leave it for about 1/2 an hour to 45 mins. Do this at least once a week, the more the better. It should keep your hair moisturized and easier to style. Hope this works ;)
instead of a heat protectant spray..use a smoothing cream for heated styling.(will help with out drying hair out more!) make sure you blow dry your hair completely because thick and curly hair can hold on to water. then move on to the flat iron and finish with silk infusion to get that smooth/sleek look.

hope that helps!

How can I tame my natural curls?

So I need some help trying to figure out how to properly style my long, naturally curly hair (and by curly I mean ringlets - not extremely tight though).

I've already learned the basics: shampoo less (and with good shampoo), condition daily, ring out excess water, use a pic or fingers, use my product, and let it air dry. For my product I use a little biosilk or chi serum. I noticed this really helps to tame the define the curls yet keep it soft. However I need to use a little harispray to keep the frizz under control. My problem is that at first my hair has ringlets, and then as the day goes on it starts to loosen up (and for those that have naturally curly hair, that in between look of perfectly defined curls and a little looser does not look great). Usually, it's the next day my curls look the best. But then of course sections are frizzy from sleeping on it.

Overall, what I'm trying to figure out is how to get the natural or next day look right away. I've heard about showering at night (I always shower in the am just to style my hair) and styling and letting it dry then, but how can I sleep without messing it up?

Any recommendations on your entire process for getting natural looking curls it would be greatly appreciated :)How can I tame my natural curls?
I have curly, fine dry hair. Oh, the joy. When it looks good, it looks great. However, this is rare.

I have tried alot of things and this is what works for me.

1) I believe that the ';no shampoo'; practice is great and it works for my thicker-haired curly girl friends. Basically, you don't use shampoo cause to be honest it is sort of a rigged game. First, a person uses detergent to get rid of ';oils'; and then we use a conditioner to make hair soft again? The idea of ';curly girl'; is a person rinses hair, trying not to disturb natural curl pattern, and uses conditioner to massage scalp and on ends. Brown Sugar can be used as scalp exflotient when needed (id scalp itches or feels icky).

Try to air dry as much as possible. Try not to disturb natural curl pattern - i.e. don't scrunch hair alot. Can use clips to lift roots up to get more volume as hair dries.

2) the use of a ';refresher'; during the day. A spray bottle with a little lavendar oil in it can be used to spray at ';wilting'; curls and they will get ';springier'; and more shapely. This does not work for me, but does for many others. I suppose you don't have to use lavender oil.

3) As someone with fine hair, if I don't shampoo sometimes, it is a sad sight. What I do try to do is just use it at roots. I try not to use it every shampoo. I try non-sulfate ones. There are a few.

4) I know completely what you mean about sleeping on it and SILK pillowcases are a god-send. They really really work. Supposedly used alot for preventing wrinkles, they work amazing for hair. All night long there is friction from head (hair) on pillowcases. I have found so much less frizz and tangles with silk cases. Satin, whatever - something that provides some ';slip'; while sleeping.

5) try putting in some product - Phyto 7 I adore- and braiding it before bed.

6) Once a week I put on the cotton pillowcases and sleep with olive oil in hair. It is amazing! I do use a mild ';real'; shampoo the day after (especially on roots) but the hair is so ';happy'; the next few days, less frizz, more shine and suppleness. You could try just putting oil or deep conditioner on ends the night before for better AM wash and style.

7) Basically, don't fall into the ';hydrating'; shampoo concept - it is vicious cycle.

8) you know your hair, but hairspray seems contraindicated and is usually drying. Maybe look for another product to ';keep'; curl? I do like the Bumble %26amp; Bumble curl cream, Phyto 7 mixed with a little liquid gel, or some of the morrocon oil mixed with liquid gel.

Curly Girls of the World Unite! How can I tame my natural curls?
First start out with a really good cut by a stylist that understands curly hair.

Shampoo and conditioner should be highly moisturizing.

My favorite curl product is ';Boing'; by Unite Eurotherapy (a salon brand)...the best I've ever tried!

I air dry and scrunch, barely even finger combing, and don't use combs or brushes. If I use a hair dryer it's always on low with a diffuser.
With a Chair and Whip.
Let My Marines cut your hair.......

You need to get your hair trimmed. It will be 100 times better to curl... I'm serious. There is no hope if it is so damaged.

Cute, easy hairstyles?

I have always had trouble with creating cute looks for my hair. I'm a sophomore, and my school starts at 7, so I don't have a lot of time to do my hair.

I always straighten my hair, but lately it's been becoming fried (even with my Chi 44 Heat Protectant) and boring and repetitive. My hair is layered, and I have side bangs, and my hair goes down a little past my shoulders. This makes it really hard to put it up without everything falling out.

What are some cute, relatively easy hairdos I can do to mix things up? Please keep in mind I don't want to hear ';curl it';, etc. I know I can ';curl it';, but I need some direction on how to work with my type of hair. If you have a lot of ideas/instructions, or can direct me to a helpful site, it's greatly appreciated. Also, natural ideas that don't use heat tools would be good.Cute, easy hairstyles?
I have the same hairstyle as you but a little longer and I straighten it EVERYDAY. I think it looks cute when I do I high pony tail and some of it falls out. Messy buns are also really cute. French braids are my fav. And you can leave your hair down but add barrets to make it look different. You could also try curling your hair (without heat). For perfect wavy hair wet it, add moose or hair spray, then brush it so its smooth and tangle free, braid it (2 braids, one on each side) as tight as your can make them and its ok if the layers stick out a little. Leave the braids over night. Then take them out and shake them and your hair will be really wavy and natural looking. And it holds for a long time.

Hope that Helps :)Cute, easy hairstyles?
You can:

1) do the twist/braid in the front (to pull bang out from your face) . idk how to really explain it you just twist the bang back and pin it with bobby pins.

2)Or scrunching it is really quick to do, just if you wash your hair in the morning, put moose in it after and scrunch your hair than spray with hair spray. (no heat needed for the curly/wavy look, so you won't damage your hair.)

Good luck.

(:
I know what you mean. I'm a heavy sleeper and usually only have thirty minutes to get ready in the morning, so it's helpful to know some quick styles.

You can do a bun, but to make it less boring by putting it on one side by your ear. There's also the high bun which is really common in fashion week right now. Use some pins to lock your hair in place.

You can also put all your hair on one side, fasten it with a long brooch type thing on the back, maybe curl a strand of your hair on the front.

Another thing is headbands. At H%26amp;M there are headbands that have huge flowers, feathers etc in them and such. You don't even have to do your hair as the focal point is the accessory.

I personally don't like putting my hair through heat so I just do those little bits of stuff. Oh and one more weird thing, I sleep with my hair above my head. I've always done it and I find in the morning my hair's all volumized. It's great. hahah.
I am the exact same, i use bubz beauties hair styles.. they normally take like 5 minutes

http://www.youtube.com/user/bubzbeauty?blend=1%26amp;ob=4

they are super cute as well (:
Here is an effortless way to get cute, shiny, frizz-free, voluminous waves:

1) Wash and condition hair in the shower. Than towel dry hair.

2) Flip head upside-down and aim blow drier at roots for a minute. Use heat on them, than blast with cool air to lock them in place.

3) Apply a dime size of smoothing cream (I like Nexux's) and a shine serum (I like Garnier Fructis') all over hair. Starting at ends and than the roots last.

4) Blow dry top layers with a medium round brush. This smooths out the top so you don't have any weird bumps. But it curves them in so the texture isn't too different from your wavy hair.

5) Blow dry the rest of your hair combing your finger through it as you blow dry it. Do this until is 80% dry. Than let it air dry the rest of the way, occasionally scrunching it up.

I hope this was helpful!
you could braid or twist your bangs then bobby pin it down, a half up do, or take a piece of hair on each side, braid them, and pin them back. You could try a side ponytail, a messy ponytail, a bun, or a fishtail braid.
Flat-top or a G.I. If I had any hair thats what I would have. Easy to clean and care for.

What kind of curls? How to keep it to stay?

My hair is very long. And it's naturally wavy and it frizzes up very easily when it humid outside. I love to curl it because it looks good.

I've tried alot of curls and there's one I like and it's kind of the casual loose curls. But I've only been able to do it once. ): So any tips on that please suggest (I only have a CHI flat iron and I know you can curl with it).

But the problem when it IS curled is it won't stay. I got a new hair product that I haven't tried but I will but I still need suggestions if that doesn't work.

I can use all help needed. Even suggest other hairstyles because I can't think of ANY hairstyles. What kind of curls? How to keep it to stay?
i have somewhat of the same hair as you, but i don't have a chi to curl it more. i have a cheap ike 25 buck conair spiraler that works wonders! but you could still use your flat iron. first of all, with damp hair apply gel or curling mousse (i tend to wash my hair before i go to bed, put the product in, then sleep with it) and in the morning curl it. this will make your curls look amazing, frizz free, and they'll stay like all day. here's a pic of me with this process...

    http://s601.photobucket.com/albums/tt100鈥?/a>

but my hair is short in that pic, so it will look amazing with your long hair.

products i use are herbal essences totally twisted mousse, or plain old dove volume gel.

really it just takes a good 2 hours in front of a mirror every now and then to fiugre out how your hair works with you.

How do i keep my bangs straight ?

i naturally have curly hair that tends to frizz with humidity but i straighten my bangs every morning before school.but what ever i use such as a blow dryer or flat iron they always end up curling up. what can i use or do so that my bangs wont frizz. ( i also use bio-silk when i blow dry and chi when i flat iron)How do i keep my bangs straight ?
Try Bed Head After Party. After you straighten your hair apply it to your hair and it will keep your hair looking perfect all day. It's like hairpray except it smells good, it's creme, and it makes your hair shiny and soft. It also takes away frizz. You can maybe get it at Target or Walmart but definatly try a salon!! Good luck! How do i keep my bangs straight ?
herbal essence frizness product, and herbal essence dangerously straight hairspray, the hairspray wont make your hair sticky and hard. but it will make it super straight and shiny!

    (: hope i helped!
ask your hair dresser about permently straightening it, it dosent really keep it straight forever, but it lasts for atleast 3-5 months.
the wet to dry iron is good for that
Have it professionally straighted. Will last about 3 months.
Be careful not to use too much/many chemicals in your hair. I personally have naturally curly hair, I never use anything other than a brush on my hair. Why not go with natural hair?

    I'm including some pictures.

Please rate me and be honest! And include what I should improve.

I'm not asking for a boost in self confidence, I REALLY want to know. I'm asking because-

I always feel like I'm in competition with other girls. Girls are continuously flirting with my boyfriend, he doesn't show any interest back, but I'm scared he will someday. If you were a guy what would you improve about me? Those girls make me so mad, you know the ones with PERFECTLY straightened hair, high pitch voices, and huge boobs. I have small boobs :/ (I already wear a push up bra) How can I act more girly?

Also, how can I get my hair to STAY straight all day? The main length of my hair stays straight, but the ends curl inwards by second period :/ How can I prevent this? I already use CHI iron guard and a CHI straightener.

By my pictures how old do you think I am?

    Any good hairstyle ideas?

And do my boobs look noticeably small?

    Rate on 1-10

    Please look at all pictures!

I have a small gap between my two front teeth and this makes me very self concious, so I don't show my teeth when I smile.

    What are leave-in-conditioners?

My hair is exteremely curly and the only thing I can do with it is put it up in a ponytail everyday. Straightening irons don't work for me and it's too expensive to go to a salon. CHI straighteners are expensive too. When I brush my hair in the shower with conditioner my curls become bigger. How can I keep them that way? Because when I get out of the shower and brush my hair, it's curly again. And when I say curly, I mean my curls are the size of an eraser on a pencil. What can help my curls stay the way they are in the shower? What are leave-in-conditioners?
My hair is extremely curly too.. i feel your pain. what i do is when i get out of the shower i squirt my hair with leave in conditioner, then brush out my hair with a wide tooth comb. then i put an anti-frizz cream(sunsilk), a curl defining mousse(panteen), and hairspray(Panteen ice shine). I am always happy with the way it turns out and it doesn't take as long as it sounds. it only takes less than five minutes. oh...and i let my hair air dry...if you do use a hair dryer attach a diffuser on the end and it wont make it BIG! i hope that works out for you! What are leave-in-conditioners?
A conditioner that softens your hair
Conditioners that you leave in. To deeply moisturize. Did that make any sense?
a conditioner that you leave in and dont wash out i put mine in after i get out of the shower. you use it to keep your hair from drying out from the staightening, blow drying. it keeps the hair protected against breaking off and feeling like straw. Protein packs are really good for that also.
Leave in a conditioner, tie it back in a pony tail, go out in the sun. Go home, wash it out, and style it with straighteners.

    Also try using oils.

another solution is a hair cut, get your hair trimmed, layered, feathered and straighten.

Save up for straighteners that will straighten your hair from damp-dry.

There are plenty of affordable salon conditioners to turn curls, to straight.
A leave-in conditioner is applied to damp hair after you get out of the shower. Don't rinse it out, just comb it through.
my hair is super thick and i got a Conair straightner for just 39.99 canadian its really good. or u can go to the store and get curl definer its under 10 $ around $5 or get leave in conditioner. Leave in conditioner is pretty good get the herbal essences one ,

A leave in conditioner can nourish your hair the same way a moisturizer nourishes your face. And it is especially important if you are in the sun on a regular basis (be sure to look for one containing sunscreen).

Its basically helps keep ur hair healthy and not damamged

    hope this helps
Don't bother with a leave in conditioner. Those are to nourish, but not tame. Try a hair gloss. Biosilk is the best - you can buy it at salons, Target and Ulta, but it's really expensive. My favorite is Proclaim because I can afford it. I can only find it at Sally Beauty Supply. It's $6 a bottle. It works - trust me.
It's really hard to make your culrs looser. Try burshing it in the shower as you have but usuing shampoos/conditioners just for curls- ones that ';relax'; your hair. Or try a hevaier conditioner- it weihgs down your urls and makes htem looser.,
a conditioner that you leave in your hair
i would try a wet gel they work well. leave in conditioners tho are conditioners u dont wash out with water.
You should use leave-in conditioners, which are conditioners that u put on your hair after you wash it or even when its dry and its supposed to make your hair healthier and prettier. It should work for your curls ( It worked for me ). Also, you can buy a good one at a beauty supply like Sally and they are not expensive. They usually cost like twelve dollars. Well, good luck with your curls. Hope this helps. :)
You could use a leave in conditioner or leave in regular conditioner. If you wash your hair everyday. You could also use mouse with fizz ease it's kind of expensive but it works.
leave-in conditioners are the conditioners you can use after you shower but that won't weigh down your hair as much.

If you want big curls then you woul dhave to use ginormous curlers most likely, or blowdry your hair with a big Round brush.
do not brush your hair again when you get out of the shower, you can use garnier fructis curl n shine leave in and use your fingers to work it through your hair, then you can either air dry or use a blow dryer that has a diffuser on it
First off, never brush curls like yours. Ever. Unless, of course, you're going for the Golden Girls halo. Try a wide-tooth comb if you absolutely have to. Leave-in conditioners are a good option. Infusium is a good, inexpensive option and the scent is nice. As far as a great product line, try Ouidad. It's a fantastic line, especially since the creator has curly hair herself. Minnie Driver and Julianna Margulies are both fans. And the website is full of great tips.

Omg..... help with stupid mom and school.?

Okay, so my mom wakes me up for school because I grew up waking up by my mom and not by an alarm clock. So my mom would always wake me up at 6:45am when school starts at 7:10am. I was late to school 2 weeks straight because of my mom. I never said anything about it but I'm really sick of this because today my homeroom teacher wrote me up for coming to school late..... I was like ';Wth. Okay, I don't care.'; because it's not my fault.

So I need to fix my hair by straightening/curling it and she gave away my ';CHI'; straightener to someone else without even asking me. WTH. DOES SHE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH A CHI STRAIGHTENER COST? So I have to use a cheap drugstore straightener now and EVERYONE KNOWS THAT IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST 5 MINS. TO FIX YOUR HAIR but my mom was like ';You can fix your hair LESS THAN 5 MINUTES'; and I got mad and I told her ';Shut up, if it's so possible for anyone to do their hair in less than 5 minutes, then you do it. Show me. I want to see'; and she got mad and started talking crap about me. But anyways, my mom refuses to wake me up earlier and I don't want to go to school looking like a frizzy haired freak.

And I've been late for 2 weeks straight already and supposedly our school supports a program where you get a certain amount of tardies and you'll be sent to ';0 Credit'; and you would either have to go to summer school or re-take the school year..... Is there a way to get rid of all these tardies? Because it's not even MY FAULT and my counselor knows how immature my mom is because she's spoken to her before and she knows that I get abused by her. (Another story.)Omg..... help with stupid mom and school.?
I know how you feel. You can go to the store and buy a fairly cheap alarm clock (5 bucks maybe less) and it works fine, it's what I did. I'm a dude and I take more than 5 minutes on my hair lol.Omg..... help with stupid mom and school.?
Get an alarm clock. I know about mom's talking **** about taking too long to get ready, so now you just need to start taking control of your school attendance.

I guess you're **** out of luck then. Sorry.
set an alarm clock so you can wake up earlier
Oh honey- you ought to go hug that woman! Cause if you were my kid you would have the wake up call of your life!
Buy an alarm clock, quit blaming others for you immature shortcomings, man up and face the penalties for being late. You are a spoiled selfish child and if you were my child I would knock you into next Tuesday.
Do you have a cell phone? If you do you can use the alarm clock on that to wake up.
School starts at 710? Damn that's early...well what I suggest is you be responsible...like wake up earlier yourself, don't rely on your mom...grow up
Honey, you need to set an alarm clock for yourself. Figure out how much time you need to get ready and allow for that so you can get to school on time. This is your responsibility.
You need to start taking responsibility for yourself and stop blaming others for your problems.

Its a simple solution. Get up earlier. If it takes you 45 minutes to get ready, then you need to get up 45 minutes earlier. Get an alarm clock like others have said. Mommy isn't going to be around to get you up for the rest of your life so learn to deal with it.
should have traded in that CHI iron for a cheaper straightener and an alarm clock...

also if you go to sleep at 10pm or 9pm you will usually wake up earlier...
Here's an online alarm clock! http://onlineclock.net/
Break your mom's freakin rules and get your own alarm clock!
Snivelling about your mom doesn't help you.

Get your own clock. Hide it if necessary. There are some very quiet and cheap ones available.

You are old enough to use a computer, surely a clock is simpler and would end this little problem.

Sounds as though this is not really about a stupid clock but other issues.

Don't bother responding to me, I can't be bothered with spoiled brats.
Seriously? I get up a 6:00 AM for school starting at 7:30! It's far. Get used to life. SUCK IT UP! You'll get used to it soon enough. and im only 13. My mother + father go to sleep at 12 am-2am and wake up at 6am - 7 am. IT'S LIFE, GET OVER IT!!!! But i still feel pity for u. I know how it is to get used to this crap for your whole life then you actually have to wake up....

    IT SUCKS!!!

    oh well... ; )
Perhaps buy a watch that you can set your alarm on. They have ones that vibrate and won't even make a noise. Learn to take it upon yourself to wake up instead of relying on others. Try to explain to your mom that getting an alarm clock or something to help you wake up, will help you get to school on time, give you time to fix your hair and get ready for the day, and save her the hassle of waking you up in the mornings.

Does anyone know how to get cute curls?

ok so my hair is naturally wavy, but i straighten it because i hate my natural hair.

when i straighten it i use the chi iron guard so my hair doesn't burn.

i usually wear my hair down with a clip in the back.

and i always wanted to try a different look, but i can never pull it off.

does anybody have any cute hair styles that you can share with me:)?Does anyone know how to get cute curls?
wash your hair before you go to bed, andsleep with 3-4 braids in yr hair, itll make it pretty wavy in the morning when you take them out

    or

pop on hot roller in yr hair, bigger ones on the crown of your head, and the thinner ones on the bottom layers.Does anyone know how to get cute curls?
    sleep with braids.

    use a curling product

get curlers and sleep with them

    get a curling iron
Once you've washed your hair towel dry till damp then put your hair into MANY plaits and leave in over night
Okay. There are some AH-MAZING hairstyles you can do with naturally wavy ( would know, b/c I have the same problem :)). If you want cute ringlets/curls. here are some steps:

    1) Turn on your curling iron (A 1 1/2 - 2 inch works best!)

    2) Before starting use, let it sit for at leas 7 minutes

    3) Tie all of your hair up in a pony tail in the back of your head except for a few pieces of hair that drape down the nape of your neck.

    4) Take a 1 - 2 inch piece of hair and curl it, using the clamp

    5) Curl up horizontally, and then let go vertically

    6) Continue process until you are done with the hair on the nape of your neck

    7) Let down hair gradually, small bits at a time, and curl them

    8) Put a little bit of shine syrum on the sides and back of your hair, NEVER THE ROOTS

    9) Enjoy your purrr-fect hair! :)
My hair is a friggen nightmare to try and get curls with.

But what I do is in the morning when I have a shower, after I put it up in a bun, spray some hairspray, and leave it,

I get ready the rest of the way, and about 15 minutes before you leave, turn yoiur hair curler on.

Take your hair out, use a sea spray (at walmart or drugstores I use sunsilk :P) And spray it all over and scrunch it.

    Than curl random pieces.

It will look piecy, and give you a just out off the beach look :)

what you need is a great flat iron. I use the Sedu 1'; from folica.com. Its pricey but well worth it. I used to have that problem last year but my hair stays straight for a long timee. hope i helped, have a great school year! (:

How can i get the ends of my hair to stay straight? i want it PIN straight?

i straighten my hair every day. when i finish with it, its perfectly straight, and stays straight for the most part. By the ime i get to school, the ends have curled in kind of. It's not the straightener, cause i have CHI.

I try to use the protectant spary, but its hard when i dont have a lot of time, and it makes my hair not stay straight. using a lot of product makes my hair gross, so i dont really.

what do i do? i cant ask my haircutter, cause they alkways yell at me for straightening my hair too often. bottom line is, im not going to stop. and i wont get a straight perm cause the hairdressers all wont do it for me because my hair is fine. I have medium-length hair, its about 3 or 4 inches past my shoulder. i really want my hair to be straight all over and all day! what do i do? i have naturally really curly hair, but dont suggest leaving it that way cause it has no shape %26amp; i hate it. HELP.How can i get the ends of my hair to stay straight? i want it PIN straight?
Blow dry you hair and use Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum.. with what your doing now your going to be bald in about 10-20 yearsHow can i get the ends of my hair to stay straight? i want it PIN straight?
i straighten my hair everyday too, and i think your problem may be humidity, there is this hairspary from herbal essences for straighting hair (dangerously straight, pink bottle), and if you use it just at the ends with a hot straightner it may solve your problem.

yeh ... only advice i can give cause i have no idea what to do when it comes to my hair ... !

Best advice get your hair done at a shop on a daily bases, this will train your hair .... then take notes on what they do to your hair ...
Hi hun, doing it with a flat iron can ruin or damage your hair. So, use Bouncy Creme by ISO. works GREAT. Eliminates frizz and defines curls without being stiff. or you can put hair in largish curlers at night and buy a hood/bonnet dryer. when dry, undo curlers, put hair in ponytail on top of head to sleep. in the morning simply let it down, shake spray and scrunch. By the way, setting lotion or mouse for the curlers. If you choose this regimen, be sure to use clarifying shampoo once a week or so followed by good conditioner. This will remove buildup from products that lock out moisture and dry hair. Good luck :)
if you want to blow dry your bangs than its simple.. bring out the blow dryer :) thats about as easy as it gets.

and you curl your hair with a straightner you do what you would do with a curling iron

    1. get some hair in the straightner

    2. rap your hair around one of the sides of the straightner so that when curling it around about half of the strip of hair is touching the heated part of the straightner.

    3. curl up untill you get to the top of your head

    4. hold your straightner there for about 20 m-i-s-s-i-p-p-i seconds

    5. put hair spray on your hair while your holding your straightner at the top of your head

    6. release slowly

this should work if not than theres a really nice tool that does:

thankxStaightening with a flat iron or curling iron?
use the chi flat iron and like curllll ur hair around it instead of pulling it straight down.. and it will make it waveeeyyy instead of straight..

the curling iron will just make it curly..Staightening with a flat iron or curling iron?
use a flat iron to curl your hair.
use a curling iron, a rather bigger one, and a working hairspray to have wavy curls...if you want it to last longer, use a smaller curling iron and throughout the day will loosen up the curls into a wavier affect
either would work, personally though for a head full of waves I would use the curling iron, you'll most likely get better results
i would say a curlinq iron.

    =]
i like to use my strightner to make more of a kinky wave/curl all u do is take the strightner and wrap it around like u would for a normal curlying iron and u end up with kinky waves its easy and u are sure not to look like the crowd
You use a CURLing iron to curl your hair, and a FLAT iron to make it straighter/flatter.

To use the curling iron, you clamp the curling iron around small pieces of your hair and ';roll'; the piece up around the barrel of the iron. Hold for a few seconds, unclamp, and pull the iron free.

Don't go all the way to your scalp unless you want ringlets - go about halfway up the length of your hair to get wavy ends. The bigger the curling iron, the bigger the wave - a smaller curling iron will give you tighter, more spiral curls.

How to cut my long, curly hair (pics included)?

have long, thick, kinda coarse, curly hair. My hair is soft, and I take good care of it (never dyed it, I rarely use heat). My hair is dark brown. My hair is in pretty good shape and really healthy, so thats not a problem. Right now it is all one length, but I have a couple random short curls by my ears (I didn't do that on purpose, its kinda strange).

As you can see, my face shape is kinda square, and I want to have a new hairstyle. I dont want it to be supppper short, I need to be able to pull my hair back for work. Also, straightening my hair every day is pain and takes a while, even with a CHI, so I want to avoid that.

I am just frustrated that from the front, my hair looks boring. My haircut doesn't flatter me too much, I think. I tuck my hair behind my ears, and the length of it flattens it on top. How could I create interest in the front?

I would do a steep, angled layers which would get longer as you go from the back of your head to your chin. At the absolute center of the nape of your neck, have the hairstylist cut an inverted v which will extend down to your chin in the front. I know that sounds short, but it could be relatively long in front and I really think that the shorter hair cut will accentuate your eyes and you could play with the texture of your curls more- be sure to part such a style on the side. It would be very chic and French- very sophisticated. How to cut my long, curly hair (pics included)?
You have a long forehead so I'd definitely suggest some sweeping or just straight bangs. You should straighten and layer your long hair.

    help? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
i would do layers and cute about like 1 inch below ur shoulders that would be so cute with ur shape and frame
try getting it cut in a v shape. it rly works my hair used to be uncontrably puffy and curly now its un frizzy yet still curly. try using carols daughter shampooo and conditioner ( which u can buy @ Jcpenny ) this rly improves ur hair
I think that you should just cut off a few inches and but some carmel highlights in it. You should get some layers closer to the bottom.

My hair is pretty thick, but not too bad. About 2 and half inches past my shoulders. Dark brown/black.

I usually straighten it, but when I curl it.. I do it with my Chi and I just make ringlets. But I reallly like those curls and I can't seem to make them..

Is there a type of curl enhancing shampoo/spray/gel that would help me get these? How could I get curls like AnnaLynne McCord?
If you want the type of curls shown in the picture, i would recommend rollers. They are a great way to style your hair without using heated tools. As far as i can tell, these curls were made using rollers. You can buy them in different sizes for different size curls. Bigger rollers are used for longer hair generally, but i find using a medium size roller is good for tighter curls. hope i helpedHow could I get curls like AnnaLynne McCord?
    use spiral or rod rollers

How do I get pin-straight hair?

My hair is naturally curly and a little hard to manage, but I straighten it every other day because I don't like my curls. However, when I straighten it, it never comes out how I want it--perfectly pin-straight. I use straightening gel and I blow-dry it and straighten it in layers, but it always has like a dent and/or puffs out (ESPECIALLY the top layers). I find this very annoying and I don't think it looks good but I don't know how to fix it.

    Here's exactly what I want:

Their hair is completely straight with no puffs or anything. I know I can get a perm but I heard it's damaging and I'd rather not spend a lot of money to make my hair more damaged. (If this helps, I use a CHI flatiron.)

(I've asked this before but this time I'm including examples of what exactly I want.)How do I get pin-straight hair?
My hair is naturally curly as well and I usually straighten it. You need to get some type of a wax. Pretty much every brand of hair product makes one. Take one section of your hair at a time, put some wax through it and straighten it. It takes a while but it works. You could just buy a perm kit from the store and put the solution on your hair and comb it straight while it sets in. I know you don't want to damage your hair but, you're damaging it anyway when you straighten it all the time. If you do use the perm solution just use a really good deep conditioning treatment after. You can get a packet of it at a beauty supply store for like $2.How do I get pin-straight hair?
use GHD straightners they're the best and do the least damage to your hair.
my hair is pin straight :)

    just like those models.

and i have GHD Straighteners, cost just over 拢100 but they are so worth it!
well if your hair is curly it might not be able to get pin pin striaght. liek for people who have striaght hair they cant get curly hair even if they want it..liek me. and your hair straightener is a good one. but my hair used to puff and bubble out in the back right near the part. i tried not striaghtening the very very top of the back where the roots are and now i dont get the bubble. mayb you should try that but idk because your hair is curly where mine is kinda straight so the roots arnt curly.
    get a better straightener.

but some people just don't have hair that will go straight like you want it.

How do you do big loose waves?

For Easter I really want to wear my hair down with the poof thing and big loose waves. I have some layers still, so I dont know if it'll work. I always try out a new hair style way in advance b4 I do it so I know if it'll look good. Anyone know an easy way to do this? I have a regular size curling iron, a med size, a chi straightening iron and tons of hairspray ;)How do you do big loose waves?
start with dry straight hair and you can either use a curling iron or rollers. If you use a curling iron go for a big barreled iron and wrap two to three inch sections around the barrel and do the entire head. If you are using rollers, put mousse on in sections and use medium sized velcro rollers, either blow dry the pieces on a low setting of let the hair sit in the rollers until it is dry, then remove and style further. How do you do big loose waves?
wrap yur hair around the curling iron hold it for 5 sec then relese
Well I think the best way to get nice waves is to set your hair on rollers, layers shouldnt be a problem i you get the right size.
after showering, blow dry your hair straight with a round brush, make sure to go section by section, then after blow drying a section put it in a big rollerand secure with a bobby pin. leave the rollers in your hair for a few hours, if your hair takes longer to hold the curls, try sleeping in them (thats what i do) when you take out the rollers spray some hairspray on the curls and your all set. ANother way is to just use a 1 1/2 to 2 inch curling iron.
dry your hair, add styling product, then use large Velcro rollers and leave them in while you are doing your make up, etc. hit the rollers with a blast of your blow dryer on a low, cool setting, for a minute or two. This is what we do in the salon. the layers will wrap on the rollers with no problem.

How can I get cute goldy locks curls?

    Heat roller things.

    Most curling irons work.
I would use a curling iron. I don't know about the other methods, but a curling iron definitely works for that! In the beginning it takes awhile, but when you get used to it you can do it really fast. And the thing I like about curling irons are that when you curl your hair with them, the curls are all like shiny and silky looking (well atleast for me and my hair is pretty dry).

How can i get beachy waves NOT curls with a straightner?

so i got up and showered and everything then my hair air dried and when it was about 80% dry i put the garnier curl enhancing spray in and scrunched it a little bit but i want it to be a little more wavy and im wanting to use my chi to do it.How can i get beachy waves NOT curls with a straightner?
Use the curl enhancing spray while your hair is damp and braid your hair. Let your air dry or blow dry. I do this all the time during the summer! How can i get beachy waves NOT curls with a straightner?
OK so there's 2 things you could do:

If you know how to make curls with a straighener, do that and just don't hair spray it-- run your fingers through after curling, and it will loosen them up.

you can hold the straightener and literally make a ';wave'; motion on your hair. Sorry, it's hard to explain it through typing!

    For better tips with this check out youtube, lots of people do videos on that! Just type in something like ';waves with a straightener'; or ';beachy waves with a CHI';

    Good luck :)

What to do with extremely curly hair?

I have really big curly hair and I love it. I just need a change. I have managed to define the curl and tone the frizz down to where it looks good but I have no idea how to fix it up. I am tired of having it just hang there. It's a pain in the you know where to straighten it even with a CHI and I'm bored with the style. I don't want to cut it, I just want a way to play around with it. Any help? What to do with extremely curly hair?
Get a Japanese Straightening. Its when they permanetly make your hair straight for a while. Its like a perm but the opposite :) alot of people get it done when they want a change. What to do with extremely curly hair?
Try putting it up in different ways. IE high pony with a hairband, low pony with some strands hanging around. Mid-pony with a head band and strands hanging. Try maybe parting it in a different way too and putting it up that way.

Okay so the purplish zebra one is what i'm wearing for my formal i think i'm wearing black heels, what would you do? and im getting my done, so i think i want it curled with my bangs in a poof, also silver jewerly and black or french nails how that?

    tips/ adive

also, for graduation obviously my nails are going to be what i got for the formal since it s the day after and i think i'm just going to straighten my hair with my chi and how should i do my makeup and what color heels/ jewerly ? thanks (:Dress questions (pictures)?
For ur graduation u should wear red/gold jewelry with the same black heels.Dress questions (pictures)?
Still go with some black, rely nice heels. Also wear black or purple rely light eyeshadow.Have a couple rings on or bangles.
I love the first dress!Although not a fan of the second but I would wear black heels with both because they have such a dramatic pattern everything else should be simple. Hair for the formal sounds cute. Silver jewerly sounds nice I would try to match that pink but that's just me and the nails sound nice. Graduation hair is good, depending on where you live it might get hot so consider that. For makeup I would do something very natural because you might cry it off(I sure did lol).I would wear gold jewerly because there's a few colors and gold would fit right in. Hope that helped!
i think the first one would look cute with black nails and heels but im not sure if you would be able to get the black off your nails for your grad, for the second dress i tihnk you should straighten your hair but add a little poof if your hair is long..ya know like the bump its? haha

a nice long gold necklace im not sure about the heels though... good luck :)
i'm sorry, but I think the 2nd one is hideous.

the first one is okay though
For the first dress, definitely black heels. Everything else seems fine, too. For the graduation dress, I think black heels would also be nice; black goes with anything, in my opinion. For jewelry, maybe some nice gold necklaces and hoop earrings.

I love your dresses, by the way! Especially your graduation dress!
    Wow sounds like your set!

You should definately do a smokey look. That would be great! and pearls long ones that would look nice....P.S. i Love the uggs in the background!
i think the second one would be cute with silver heels. for make up, there are a lot of ways to do it. for jewelry, you dnt have to do too much.since your dress is already really pretty.

She has so many make up tips and tutorials.

    good luck.
ok, so nails. I would do a black french manicure. (pick a color for the 2nd color that is in both dresses). And make up, i would stick with bronze colors or do a brite color found in the pattern of the dress. Heels, i would do a bronze or matalic. Jewerly, matalic or bronze.

    hope i helpd!! :)

    good luck!

I have very fine hair, whats the best straighteners to buy?

My hair is very fine, yet lots of it. I use my straighteners on the lowest heat setting as its only fine and im scared of damaging my hair. I have remington hair straighteners but i'm thinking of buying chi or ghd. Are they any better for fine hair or am i paying for the name?

Also anyone out there with fine hair who has a problem keeping it straight and stopping it from curling at the bottom????How do you do it and keep it looking in good condition?? (i have below shoulder length hair)

Thanks!!I have very fine hair, whats the best straighteners to buy?
yeah just buy the chi, Chi's are better for your hair than other straighteners, and it straightens better so it probably won't curl at the bottom, my hair goes crazy in humid weather, and theres nothing to do about that

How to keep curly hair stay in place?

I am NOT going to straighten it. So basically I can't do anything with my curly (3a) hair down - if I move around (turn around quickly, headbang to music, shake my head, have people play with my hair) it gets EXTREMELY frizzy and much like a triangle. How do I get it to fall back in place, without being messed up?

I already use Herbal Essences curl enhancing gel, Garnier Fructis styling cream, Garnier Fructis Styling Oil, Chi Ultra Shine, minimal mild shampoo, Neutrogena/Aussie deep conditioner, and very rarely olive oil. Is there ANYTHING I can do? It's driving me crazy. How to keep curly hair stay in place?
when it's wet just put conditioner in it at first it might not work like you thought it would but trust me if u keep doing it ur hair will stay curly and stay in place cuz i had the same problem b4 and when it really gets out of control try tresemme hairspray or mousse but the conditioner really helps and it also makes it healthyHow to keep curly hair stay in place?
I used to have the same problem. Try Ausie gel. It does wonders for getting rid of frizz! Just use a little hair spray to keep it in place!

How can I straighten my biracial hair?

I have extremely curly, thick hair. My mom is white and my dad is black. Sometimes I love my MIXED hair but it can often be tedious. I attempt to straighten it with a CHI but it often drives me crazy more then anything. I've thought about getting my hair permanently straightened but I like to go back and forth between ringlets and straight. I work out almost every day so I want something that will stay straight through it all and not curl up when I sweat.

I am looking for a temporary relaxer that isn't outrageously priced and gets my hair pin straight without completely damaging it. I'd like something that straightens for about a week or two. I need sweat proof, idiot proof, miracle in a box....How can I straighten my biracial hair?
I am biracial too. Please don't relax your hair. Most people aren't going to get straight hair with a relaxer, what it ends up happening is that you just have straightish but still poofy hair. So you still would need to straighten with heat to get that shiny pin straight look and this is literally like damage on top of damage. And you would still sweat the style out when exercising. Stick with flat ironing.

    The truth about relaxers:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aWlYOUlA鈥?/a>

And you will lose the versatility of your ringlets, if you ever want them back you have to transition which I just did and it's long and hard. It's ultimately makes hair tougher to manage, the sores on the scalp, the constant touch ups and flat ironing. Combating the damage of the relaxer with protein treatments. And you're hair will not grow long. Really think, how many people do you know that have long relaxed hair? Not many.

I highly recommend http://tightlycurly.com it's a great site from a biracial woman who has been there and back in hating her hair and destroying her hair with relaxers and texturizers and the like. Her hair history is so inspiring and moving. Best of luck. :-)How can I straighten my biracial hair?
    hair straightener

    hot comb
Sorry, but we all need that regardless of ethnicity. Try a flat iron.
Good luck with that, I would love to know if you find a solution. The only thing that works is a relaxer, which is permanent and I do not recommend.
Yeah, it sounds like a pain. You can try to relax it but why waste your $ since you would want a pro to do it which would cost a lot. The chemicals are really strong, so never do it yourself! You can also try to get your hair professionally permanatly (well it is not perm. but it lasts a long time) straightened at a beauty shop. I have really thick hair. It is a fro once it is dry, and brushed out from the waves. All the years of my life, I have kept it in a ponytail because I was too embarasses/stressed out from it's thickness. Then I wished I didn't. Especially after I saw this one really pretty girl on Teen Cribs. Her hair is the same as yours but it looked really cute! Bee lucky you have hair, especially nice thick curly hair. Put some shiny serum or leave-in conditoner (herbal esscences smells really good!) every day.

    African american hair help...?

i have a 13yr old niece and she has natural, long (past shoulders) coarse very thick aa hair. i love styling it and have used a chi flat iron on her with great success. normally, her mom braids the top in a few creative corn rows and the back is left down thick and natural, not flat ironed. Id love to take the time with her this weekend and do a curly style but i have no idea where to begin since im caucasian and handle my hair differently. can anyone shed some light on this for me and help me understand black hair? ive read about setting lotions, waxes, straw sets, ';pressing'; first and i literally am completely lost. i really need someone to break it all down for me.
also, i realize im risking sounding ignorant but, as far as getting softer, ringlet curls, is it a matter of what her natural hair texture is to begin with or the way its styled after shampooing that will make it more curly and less frizzy? her hair is real thick but im very good with hair and i love her so much...as her auntie i want to spend the time with her and make her feel special... any help and explaination would really be appreciated. also need to know exactly how to use products like oil...African american hair help...?

Go here and read the threads. They are very informational and these ladies know what they are talking about! http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/
Take her to a salon and watch.

Don't venture into what you don't know. I've never seen coarse hair that was long on any one before. I doubt her hair is as hard as you might think.
if you put oil or raw eggs in her hair it decreases the frizz a lot. my friend has the frizziest hair and she puts oil in it and looks like a different person. you can also blowdry with a diffuser for curls also use totally twisted herbal essences and a 1'; curling iron or you could use rollers and have her sleep on them.
well if you wanna play around with it, my cousin does this ting where she puts lots of frizz serum in and then works by sections wrapping tiny peices of her hair around her finger and waiting a little while so it dries curly and then goes on tiny piece by piece. it makes those tiny ronglet curls that are poofy in a good way. its really cute!
Hey, since you just want to do curls, it's simple.

Simply straighten her hair with the iron that you've been using.

Then massage her scalp and hair with some oil, like jojoba, or whatever hair oil that you have. But don't put too much, just enough to moisturize her scalp n hair. and then use the curling iron and curl however you prefere to curl, it's quite simple and it should last a while depedning on how she takes care of it, good luck. and you're a good auntie

    Good LUck : )

well instead of using an iron which can dry your hair out and take alot of hairspray. i recommend using Sunsilk captivating curls, Gel %26amp; cream twist !. it is light green. and all you have to do is get a shower . then when you get out put a little on your finger and rub it on a strand of hair and twist it around your finger ! continue this with all strands and when it dries it will be perfect spiral curls and look really natural !

    i hope that helped =)

    Hair SOS!!?

I don't know how to style my hair anymore! After washing my hair, I use Redken Smooth Down and blow-dry straight. Then, I use a CHI flat iron on my overgrown bangs. I had a photo shoot with Pamela Parker and she said my hair look REALLY flat and limp. My black, oily hair is about 3 inches past my shoulders and has a slight wave to it, not very much though. Has anyone used a really good voluminous shampoo/conditioner they could recommend? Also, I don't know if i should style my hair straight anymore, but when I let it ari-dry it looks bad, and when I use a curl enhancer and a diffuser it looks really messy. Any ideas?Hair SOS!!?
Use Matrix Amplify shampoo, conditioner, and Root Lifter. After you shampoo and condition your hair, spray the Root Lifter only on the roots on the top of your head. Use a round brush and hold the hair straight up off your head while blowdrying. This will give you mega volume. After your hair is dry, use the flat iron to straighten, but only straighten the ends. If you blowdried your hair properly, the roots will be straight will lots of volume so they don't need to be straightened. If you straighten them, your hair will be limp and flat on your head again. I would avoid the first 3 inches of hair near your roots. Your hair will look shiny, straight, and have tons of volume!Hair SOS!!?
My mom got this AWESOME sample shampoo and conditioner from a hair show. All it says on the packet is:

    ';hasty

    hair_styling_solution

    [Vol]

    High flyer

    Volume cleanser

    ';';spanish

    ';';french

    ';';german?

    Alter Ego

    -Italy-';

    maybe you can google it. But it worked WONDERS. My hair was full of life, volume and shine, and EVERYONE noticed. I thought it was just in my head, but at school, some one even said ';wow, you're hair looks really nice today, did you do something different?';

    So Definitely look into it!

EDIT: I found this on the packet, too:

    www.alteregoitaly.com
So...I have the SAME exact hair as you! Like the cut, little bit of wave not much, bangs, oily, limp, color, like EVERYTHING. And my hair acts the same. I do the same things to and style it the same way also. I mean you sound just like me. Hah yeah so I don't know what you could do cause I sure don't :/. Just wanted to say that lol sorry! But do tell me if you get any ideas. But maybe try dying it because it will help with making your hair less oily and it will be more shiny and volumized. That might be the first step..
Herbal Essence has some great shampoos that will really perk up your hair. Look for them at your local store (Walmart, Target, etc.) or pharmacy (Walgreens, etc.) and see what's there.

    Good luck!

How can I restore my hair?

I flat iron my hair at least 6 days a week with the original Chi flat iron. I do use a heat protectant but it still makes the ends of my hair split and damaged. I just bought the Chi flat iron spray to spray on my hair, so I finally invested in a good spray. Anyway, my hair has been really really dry lately and i notice sometimes when I comb my hair after getting out of the shower that a lot of hair comes out. Sometimes it's only 6 strands and sometimes it'll be about 15 strands. I bought the Joico Moisture stuff today, also. I only wash my hair every other day. I have told myself that I'm only going to straigten 2 times a week now, or less. I also color my hair. My thing is, I have naturally straight, flat hair ... if I attempt to use a curling iron, I look like I have 80s hair... what can I use to style my hair to make it look decent and what else can I do to help my hair get back to it's thick, healthy prettiness? How can I restore my hair?
Okay I had the EXACT same problem. I use Tressemme Anti split ends shampoo and conditioner. This helped me SO much. Also, try your hardest to not comb your hair after you shower. That's when your hair is most prone to breakage. Try to condition your hair from your ears down, not your scalp. And after shampoo and conditioning, rinse with cold water, the colder the better. Your hair is probably also lacking in shine, so use a shine spray. For the curling problem, don't use curling irons, use sleep in curls. They work alot better. And to restore your hair, I would try to straighten it less, pick ONE color instead of a billion different colors to try and remember to not dye your hair more then once every 1 or 2 months. Maybe try a little mousse for thickness as well.

:)How can I restore my hair?
You can use deep conditioners for Treating damaged hair, twice a week, no more or it will get greasy. There are products that are for split ends like Rediken Anti Snap ( its a little pricy but its worth it). ANd for now, use restraine your self from using blow dryers, curling irons, and flat irons for a while. ther eare lots of cute styles that you can do with out having to damage your hair. Like a plain ponytail, pigtails, side ponytail, clip it up, messy bun, braids, experiment a little while until it gets healthy again.
try to use deep conditioners and hot oil once a week.

and leave in conditioner once every day you shower, just dont rince.

one leave in treatment that is REALLY good its the ';Sebastian Potion 9'; it has a lot of vitamins and nutrients in 2 weeks you'll see results i promise,

i straightne my hair everyday and my hair is break free!!

try it, its about 10-15 bucks depends where you get it.
use pantene shampoo.. there is a kind where it restores your damaged hair, and there is another kind of pantene that gets ride of split ends. hope this helped!
The Chi kerain mist makes your hair feel a lot better. Spray it on after you straighten your hair (if you have to straighten it) and brush it through. You could get a different straightener with heat settings (I don't believe chis have that option). Use the lowest temperature that still makes your hair straight. After you blow dry your hair blast it with cool air from the blowdryer if it has the option. It seals the cuticle and makes the hair smooth down. Does your hair look horrible if you wash it and don't straighten it (I personally think mine does)? If you can stand it, don't straighten it.

If you are African American and you wash your hair every other day, you are drying it out. Roll your hair and use a brush to comb it out so that it's not too big. As you can see the reason your hair is breaking is because you flat iron it TOO MUCH!

    2. Yes get a primer because concealer and moisturizer together will cake it. A good eye primer is urban decay primer potion. this is only for eye. for face get a face primer such as the smash box photo finish.

    3. A liquid, if you know how to control it would work better.

    4. Any white eyeliner would do. if you are willing to spend the money then MAC fascinating eye kohl would work very well. \

    5. I think pruple looks good on any race and on any skin type.

    6. MAC is the best. it has great qaulity.

    7. I'm sorry but i dont know much when it comes to dying my hair. i only dye at the salon.

    8. You dont need a waterproof mascara cause you are not gonna swim at your dance but you do need a smudge proof one. a great smudge proof one is maybelline unstoppable.

    9. All eyelash curlers are the same to me because they all do the job. I say get the cheapest one and use the otehr money in something else. the cheapest one is manicare.

    10. Purple

    11. Blending the colour and not making the purple go too high up your crease. ALso dont put purple under your eye like you normally do for a smokey look because if you do then u will look like you just got punched.

12.I think when it comes to nailp polish, it comes to the brand. a good brand is OPI

    13. A good one is mac technakohl eyeliner or a dupe for that is the maybelline define-a-line.

    14. Liquid is best for events like these because powder will look cakey and stick will make you look patchy. Mousse ones will define your dry skin so i say liquid.

    15. Powder

    16. Because a cream eyeshadow will looked cakey so use powder.

    17. blue eyeshadow is more for a peachy blush

    18. With an actual curler

    19. I cant help you on this.

    20. Liquid because its a big event however set with with a powder

    21. concealer first

    22. do it professionally.A series of make up questions for my school dance =] Please help!! =] thank you?

How can I get my curls to not be so spirally?

I have long, naturally curly hair. My curls are similar to Taylor Swifts (when she wears them a little tighter). I'm trying to figure out the best way to style them.

I know the basics for caring for curly hair: shampoo every few days with shampoo made for curly hair, condition daily, twist out water, use a wide-tooth comb to brush it. Now this is my issue - I use a little chi serum or biosilk when my hair is still damp - this keeps my hair soft and defined. However I need to use a little hairspray to keep my hair from getting frizzy. Then I let my hair air dry.

After it dries, my hair is pretty curly. As the day goes on, the curls loosen up. However, as people who have curly hair know, when some of your curls are tight and the rest are more relaxed it doesn't look right. After the day is done, all my curls are relaxed and that's the look I want (almost like second day curls). I was told that showering at night and letting them dry will produce that look in the morning, however how do I not get bed head? What kind of rollers/products can I use at night or in the am to prevent or fix it?How can I get my curls to not be so spirally?
Try showering in the afternoon and air drying your hair all afternoon and evening. If you go to sleep with wet hair you will almost definitely get bedhead. I have the same problem, but with waves instead of curls. I can't vouch for this because I haven't tried it, but here is one other thing you could try. Shower before bed and let it air dry a bit, so its not soaking. Use your normal products and then pile your hair up on your head and wear a swim or shower cap to bed. Your hair may still be damp in the morning so just make sure you take it down in time for it to dry the rest of the way before you leave. Good luck! How can I get my curls to not be so spirally?
i would just let them dry naturally, and once they look the way you want them , spray them so they stay like that. hope tht helps. %26amp; if you get the chance answer my most recent question it would help alot thanx(:

My hair is a mess. What can I do?

I have hair that is very curly. It's just above my shoulders when curly and about to the middle of my should blades when straight, so that should give you a good idea of how curly it it. It's very tight curls.

I try to do everything right but it's still in horrible condition. I color my hair with a semi-permanent color because I was told it's not as damaging as a permanent color. I do this every three or four months to cover the moderate amount of grey. I color it my natural color which is very dark brown-almost black. I use a quality shampoo and conditioner- Biolage hydrating shampoo and conditioning balm. I use quality sytling products - chi silk infusion, biolage hydrating curl creme, paul mitchell super skinny, and friz ease. I also use infusium leave in treatment, garnier smooth and sleek leave in conditioner. Not all at the same time of course. I use a wide toothed comb on it when it's wet. I don't blow dry. I do use a flat iron maybe three times a week - Andis is the name brand of the flat iron. My hair still has terrible split ends, it's very dry, frizzy, puffy and fuzzy.

My hair has always been curly but it's gotten really really curly since having my children. I don't like it anymore and don't know what to do with it. I'm frustrated with the condition of it and when it's curly I feel like i look like a poodle, it's that curly! Is there anythng I can do to help? Would usuing a relaxer work? I'm caucasian, but my hair is as curly as if i wer african american. Should I try a relaxer? I don't want to damage my hair anymore than it already is. I really need some help!My hair is a mess. What can I do?
Although, a good '; expensive'; hair cut could help your hair, I think in your case it won't do anything, other than make it more difficult for you to style as short hair tends to curl even more.

My hair is curly and frizzy by nature and I used to blow dry it straight to be able to style it, that just caused a lot of damage to my hair.

This is what I do now and it has worked great.......

I deep condition my hair at least once a week, you can buy a deep conditioner ( I usually go to Sally's ). they usually say that you should leave them on for 5 min, i leave it on for at least 15, put a plastic cap and use my hair dryer on hot to apply heat ( this wont damage your hair as you just want to heat the cap which is basically also protecting your hair ) after I rinse it off I detangle my hair and use a mixture of hair serum with hair cream ( anti frizz) ( equal amounts ) all over my hair.

For styling it, I use curlers, the bigger the curler, the straighter the hair will get, it is kind of an inconvienence but this has worked wonders for my hair, rollers don't damage the hair and I have found is the only way to style and ';tame '; my hair, I usually do the rollers when my hair still a little wet ( not too much ) and leave them on for at least 3 hours, you'll find out how long it will take for you, every person is different. After removing the curlers I just style my hair with my fingers ( brushing your hair will just make the frizzines worse )

Try to wash your hair every other day only, so your styling will last longer, hair like ours tends to be dry so no need to wash it every day.

As for hair color, use the permanent, just don't do it as often, just color the roots every time you need it and do an all over color every other month.

I hope this helps, I do simpatize with you as I have struggled with my hair for a long time but like I said this seems to work really well for me.

( I love the Venitian blends conditiones from Sally's ).My hair is a mess. What can I do?
Have your hair relaxed. It really helps.
you can try to go to a salon and get it looked at
All I could suggest is to not iron or color it as much

Maybe if you let it grow the damage will lessen...
    idk my bff jill :]]]]
Trying to fight your natural hair is a losing battle! And putting so many different chemicals in your hair is most likely what's damaging it.

My first recommendation would be to go ahead and use a permanent hair color. Reapplying chemicals over and over to strands will damage it more than 1 color, then touching up the roots.

Secondly, research salons in your area that have high ratings, and even if it's pricey, find a stylist that knows how to work with curls, to give you a good haircut, and a good deep conditioning. It's AMAZING what a good haircut can do when you're fed up with your hair!
try taping it upright so the curls don't flow around very much
try a chi straightening system...available at most spas and high end salons...they're usually like 150.00 or if you want cheaper...I like Aussie deep conditioner and Suave Sleek, then blow dry straight with a round brush and style as normal.
