How can I get cute goldy locks curls?

I have thick dark brown hair and I flat iron it everyday with a CHI. But I'm really bored with striaght hair %26amp; when I don't straighten it it's just like really ugly uncontrolled waves. I want those cute bouncy curls.

What kind of curling iron is a good one? but not too pricey. Enough to work on thick hair. How big does it have to be?

Heat roller things.

Most curling irons work.
I would use a curling iron. I don't know about the other methods, but a curling iron definitely works for that! In the beginning it takes awhile, but when you get used to it you can do it really fast. And the thing I like about curling irons are that when you curl your hair with them, the curls are all like shiny and silky looking (well atleast for me and my hair is pretty dry).
