How do you do big loose waves?

For Easter I really want to wear my hair down with the poof thing and big loose waves. I have some layers still, so I dont know if it'll work. I always try out a new hair style way in advance b4 I do it so I know if it'll look good. Anyone know an easy way to do this? I have a regular size curling iron, a med size, a chi straightening iron and tons of hairspray ;)How do you do big loose waves?
start with dry straight hair and you can either use a curling iron or rollers. If you use a curling iron go for a big barreled iron and wrap two to three inch sections around the barrel and do the entire head. If you are using rollers, put mousse on in sections and use medium sized velcro rollers, either blow dry the pieces on a low setting of let the hair sit in the rollers until it is dry, then remove and style further. How do you do big loose waves?
wrap yur hair around the curling iron hold it for 5 sec then relese
Well I think the best way to get nice waves is to set your hair on rollers, layers shouldnt be a problem i you get the right size.
after showering, blow dry your hair straight with a round brush, make sure to go section by section, then after blow drying a section put it in a big rollerand secure with a bobby pin. leave the rollers in your hair for a few hours, if your hair takes longer to hold the curls, try sleeping in them (thats what i do) when you take out the rollers spray some hairspray on the curls and your all set. ANother way is to just use a 1 1/2 to 2 inch curling iron.
dry your hair, add styling product, then use large Velcro rollers and leave them in while you are doing your make up, etc. hit the rollers with a blast of your blow dryer on a low, cool setting, for a minute or two. This is what we do in the salon. the layers will wrap on the rollers with no problem.
